Public Disclosure and Grant Recipients and Privacy Policy
Kaleidoscope Foundation, Inc. believes that one of its duties as a grant-making organization is to help individuals and organizations stay informed about the issues facing our community and its residents, the people, and organizations working to make a difference, and the types of programs that “work”. Therefore, Kaleidoscope Foundation will publicize the following information regarding our grant recipients:
- name of the organization receiving funding
- the amount of the grant received
- the purpose of the program being funded, the outcomes the grantee hopes to achieve, and how the funds will be spent
- contact name for those wishing to know more about the program or activity being funded
As a condition of the grant, all grant recipients will be required to make a final evaluation and expenditure report. Recipients of grants from the Partners Program will also be required to make interim reports. Final evaluation reports, either in whole or in part, will be made available to the public through Foundation communications including, but not limited to, our annual report and various press releases. We acknowledge that confidentiality is often an important criterion for individuals participating in the types of programs supported by the Foundation. Therefore, every effort will be taken to maintain the confidentiality of these individuals, changing their names or other distinguishing characteristics, if and when such information is included in a grant recipient’s evaluation report.
